A Suitable Bachelorette.»
It took me six years since its release date, and two days of watching (between falling asleep and other interruptions), but nonetheless, I can add it to my archive: I finished Wedding Crashers. And only now (according to 99.99% of the male population), am I officially marriage material.

Honorable Mentions:
Owen Wilson, I’ve grown to love you. Vince Vaughn, you’re a stud. Bradley Cooper, you make a great asshole. Rachel McAdams, you m a k e m e s i c k.

Her birthday’s soon—she’ll be seventeen.
Dakota Fanning is one of my favorite actresses. Straight from Georgia, her career began at seven years young, nearly a decade ago. I’m not usually partial to child stars, as their growth is much too induced in Hollywood, for my taste. However, there’s a fine line between exploitation and the tasteful presentation of talent. Fanning has taken on more matured roles on screen than I’ve seen many actresses double her age, but the caliber of her performances is stellar and self-convincing. I admire her respectable comportment, as well as her incredible ability to identify with the characters she plays.
May your continued gracing of the Big Screen lead you to an Oscar and beyond.
Happy birthday, Hannah.

A Good Woman
Scarlett Johansson, Helen Hunt, and Tom Wilkinson star in A Good Woman, an elegant vintage-inspired film about riches, truth, deceit, and pure misunderstanding. The movie is staged in 1930’s Amalfi, Italy, and the scenery and costume designs are more than aesthetically pleasing, to say the least. Helen Hunt does an amazing job playing her part as…well…you’ll have to see for yourself. Here are some memorable quotes…
“Every man is born truthful and every man dies a liar.”
“Undying love is like the ghost in your villa. Everybody talks about it, but try and find one person who has seen it.”
“We’ve all got a couple of skeletons in the closet.
-If they are going to rattle, they may as well dance.”
“I like America. Name me another society that’s gone from barbarism to decadence without bothering to create a civilization in between.”
“I’ve thought very seriously of marrying. That’s why I’m still single.”
“Women don’t want to be understood. They want to be loved.”
